Federal rules require cremated remains to be scattered at least 3 nautical miles from land. Your captain will take you to an appropriate location.
Yes. The EPA must be notified within 30 days of a burial at sea, which can be done online. We give every family a certificate with the burial coordinates, which includes the location details you’ll need.
Ashes, biodegradable urns, flowers or petals, photos and music. Avoid plastic, balloons or anything that won’t break down in the water.
The Destin and Miss B Haven each carry up to 12 guests.
Your captain will review the forecast with you and won’t head offshore unless conditions are safe.
